Our collaboration on research documents moved forward in 2008 when we began to use Google Docs to post documents to the web to facilitate exchanges. In 2011 we had four co-authors in a seminar room at the University of Michigan, all simultaneously editing and viewing changes on the same document. Later we made manuscript changes page by page using the Microsoft Word “Track Changes” feature. For more than a decade I have been part of an interdisciplinary and international team studying the effects of social change upon human health. When I use the sticker to call a student’s attention to a mistake, I like to then click on the sticker, and add a comment. Rather than just drop the sticker and leave it there, I like to take it one step further. Using Digital Stickers in Google Classroom for Better Feedback Once your sticker is added to the student’s document or slides file, you can resize and rotate the sticker as you desire. To add these stickers, I keep the sticker book open in one tab, the student’s work in another, and I copy and paste the sticker.
